COURSE DESCRIPTION

Commonly referred to as “white collar” crime, corporate fraud is those illegal acts that are characterized by deceit, concealment, or violation of trust and which are not dependent upon the application or threat of physical force or violence. These acts are committed by individuals and organizations to obtain money or services or to secure personal or business advantage. This course will recap several actual cases of corporate fraud as presented by the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).
